Children's Ministry

God has blessed us with many young children in our church! As a result, three of our home groups have childcare provided. For our Sunday evening services, children in sixth grade and above are with us for the worship service. All children, infant through 5th grade have specific programs provided in First Presbyterian Church’s excellent classrooms and nursery respectively. We always have at least two childcare workers in each room. In addition to God blessing us with many children, He’s also blessed us with many certified teachers! We use Group Ministry age specific materials, and the kids and teachers seem to enjoy them. Our parents take turns about once every five weeks on a rotating schedule, to help with the childcare. All adult workers have their background clearances.

Our elementary aged children often participate with kids from other churches in an excellent program called AWANA that is presented by the Independent Bible Church at 45 East Ave., Wellsboro. This is held on Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8 PM. While there, the kids enjoy an applicable Bible lesson, a memory verses, and some fun games.
